<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to independently perform the encryption and decoding of information in a computer, and to make an external memory card store a password in order to protect the encrypted information by preventing the temporarily encrypted information from being decoded unless the external memory card is inserted. <P>SOLUTION: This internal information protecting system in a computer having the drive of an external memory card is provided to store a password in the external memory card, and to use the memory card as the key of encryption and decoding to encrypt or decode data in the computer in a batch by attaching/detaching the key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
