PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an excellent configuration to control a distortion correction form by using two reference signals in an amplifying device provided with a distortion detection loop and a distortion elimination loop. SOLUTION: A reference signal generating means 3 generates the two reference signals, a combining means combines the two reference signals into an amplification object signal, and a control means controls a form for changing the amplitude and phase of a distortion component in the distortion elimination loop on the basis of the levels of the two reference signals included in an amplification signal that has been subjected to distortion elimination. In the reference signal generating means 3, a mixer means 21 mixes a signal of a center frequency of the amplification object signal with a signal of a frequency that exceeds 1/2 of the frequency bandwidth of the amplification object signal, lower and upper frequency signal acquiring means 22, 23 and 26 acquire the signals of a lower frequency and an upper frequency from mixing results, and signal level changing means 24, 25, 27 and 28 change the levels of the lower frequency and upper frequency.
