PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC relay having a simple structure and small size and capable of blocking out DC in a short time. SOLUTION: This relay is provided with three contact pairs of first, second and third. The first contact pair A, B switches a circuit connecting a DC power supply and a load. A power storage means is disposed parallel to the first contact pair. The second contact pair B, C is disposed in series with the power storage means, and forms a closed circuit connecting the DC power supply and the load through the power storage means in a transition period between continuity and break in the first contact pair to charge the power storage means. The third contact pair E, F is connected with the power storage means in series to discharge electric charge accumulated in the power storage means when the first and second contact pair are disconnected.
