SOLID POLYELECTROLYTE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND SOLID POLYMER TYPE FUEL CELL USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polyelectrolyte at a low cost of which manufacturing is easy, and which has a high ionic conductivity.

SOLUTION: This solid polyelectrolyte is composed of a polyion complex formed from a polymer having an acidic group and a polymer having a basic group. The acidic group is a sulfonate group, a carboxyl group or a phosphate group, and the basic group is a nitrogen-containing group. A ratio of mol equivalent of the acidic group against mol equivalent of the basic group is 1.2 to 10 or a ratio of mol equivalent of the basic group against mol equivalent of the acidic group is 1.2 to 10.
