The invention relates to a station for reading and/or writing in a memory (21) of a chip (12) with an electronic circuit, in particular a gaming chip. The inventive station comprises: means (10) for storing the chip (12), and a communication unit (20) which can exchange information with the memory (21) using antenna means (30) when the chip (12) is positioned in the storage means (10) according to an orientation enabling communication. The aforementioned antenna means (30) consist of first (46) and second (47) antennas comprising first (46') and second (47') loops respectively. According to the invention, the first (46') and second (47') loops are disposed in an adjacent manner and are at least partially stacked on top of one another, such that, together, they define a large read and/or write zone with an essentially homogenous transmission quality. |
