PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which stably maintains electrification property for a long time without inducing dielectric breakdown of a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The toner is prepared by externally adding the following inorganic fine particles to toner particles. The inorganic fine particles are subjected to surface treatment with tin and/or antimony and have 0.070 to 0.300 dielectric loss tangent in a 100-KHz AC electric field. In order to further improve the electrification stability of the toner and to prevent dielectric breakdown of a photoreceptor, the inorganic fine particles subjected to the surface treatment with tin and/or antimony preferably consist of titanium oxide.
