PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for cleaning capable of coping even with the hair and oil stains which could not be wiped off sufficiently with a conventional product, and reducing resistance at the time of cleaning. SOLUTION: For the sheet for cleaning, a cleaning surface is composed of the surface layer part nonwoven fabric of METSUKE(basis weight) 6-50 g/m<SP>2</SP>manufactured by an airlaid method, which is composed of thermobonding synthetic fibers of fineness 6-50 dt and fiber length 2-8 mm. Further, a fiber end index (SI value) indicated below in the nonwoven fabric is 18,000-180,000: SI value=S×D<SP>2</SP>, where S=A×9,000×2/(D×L×10) provided that S: the number of fiber ends (piece/cm<SP>2</SP>), A: METSUKE (g/m<SP>2</SP>), D: fineness (dt), and L: fiber length (mm).
