The device has a refill container for liquid perfume, and a pipe connecting it a ventilation channel of a heating/ventilation plant or an air conditioning unit. The pipe also acts as regulated perfume dispenser. A capillary device, esp. a wick (11) feeds perfume from the container (7) into the ventilation channel (4), which contains fresh air. One end of the wick dips into the perfume (8), the other end extends to the free end of the connection pipe (10). The pipe end section (13) within the ventilation channel has radial apertures of relative small diameter. A cylindrical closure element (14) slides over the pipe end section. A refill socket (19) is located in the dashboard (3), esp. in an air outlet (5), and has a screw closure (20).
