Optical sensor

摘要

Optical sensor for detection of objects in a monitoring area has a light emitter (6), a light receiver (10) and an evaluation unit (13). The latter generates a switching signal dependent on the output of the receiver. The evaluation unit has a single channel output to which a signal is applied for the control of a working unit. The signal output from the evaluation unit is read back into it and compared with a predefined set value. If the actual value deviates from the set value, a deactivation signal for the safety circuit output and or the signal output is generated.
