First (2) and second (3) electromagnets each have a yoke (7) fitted with a coil (13). Feeding current to the coil of the first electromagnet creates a magnetic field (MF) to pull an armature towards a first final position. Feeding current to the coil of the second electromagnet creates an MF to pull the armature in an opposite direction towards a second final position.
