<p>The armored glass pane for a vehicle, and especially a side window which can be lowered, is composed of a number of glass layers (1,3,5) and intermediate bonding layers (2,4) between them. The glass pane has a step structure (8) for fitting into a window frame (14) or door frame, with a metal reinforcement at the projecting step at least at the inner surface. A recess (12) is at the end side of the step to take the extended metal reinforcement (6).</p> |
