PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for game machines which achieves the easier and quick unlocking operation by a staff along with a constant higher crime prevention performance by enabling its unlocking with no supply of power to a game machine. SOLUTION: The locking device 1 for game machines is provided with: a locking means 2 (receiving member for inner frame, hook 21 for inner frame, link bar 22 for inner frame, slider 23 for inner frame and cylinder lock 24) for mechanically locking an outer frame of the game machine, and the inner frame (mounting plate 929) openably pivoted on the outer frame; a regulation means (locking lever 4) which mechanically forbids or permits the operation of unlocking the locking means 2; an electrically releasing means (motor 5) which electrically releases the forbidden state of the unlocking operation of the locking means 2 made by the regulation means (4); and mechanical release means 6 (sub cylinder lock 61 and releasing slider 62) which mechanically releases the forbidden state made by the regulation means (4).
