PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration member which enables the visual expression and notification of changes in situations such as changes in the game states and achieves decoration effect synergetically in the progress of games by employing a structure of combining the decoration member with mobile board surface parts and a control method of light emitting timings, a game board, and a pachinko game machine. SOLUTION: The decoration member is provided with: an open/close unit 30 which has a plurality of open/close mobile pieces 31 and 32 so supported as to be freely approachable to or separable from each other along a track on at least one side periphery of a playing area, a drive mechanism 35 and a support base 40; and a light emitting unit 50 which has a light source 51 imbedded into the surface of the support base equivalent to an arcuate track and a control circuit 55 for flashing the light source. The light source turns exposed so as to be visually recognizable from ahead when the open/close mobile pieces are located at the open position and the control circuit makes the light source emit light only when the light source keeps exposed.
