Provided is a clutch cover assembly having a peak-cut structure for preventing an excessive warpage of a peak-cutting elastic member at a manufacturing time and at a shipping time. The clutch cover assembly (1) pushes a friction member (53) of a clutch disc assembly (52) to the flywheel (51) of an engine, and releases the push. The clutch cover assembly (1) comprises a clutch cover (2), a pressure plate (3), a diaphragm spring (4), a cone spring (14) and a limit mechanism (10). The limit mechanism (10) limits the movement of the pressure plate (3) toward the flywheel (51) in case the wear loss of the friction member (53) reaches its maximum allowance.
