This invention is a new machine and process to generate electricity from natural wind. The shroud of the wind turbine is circular in shape and c an be made any size to suit its application. The front of the shroud faces directly into the wind at all times, thus blocking, catching and funnelling the wind through the turbine wheel. The incoming wind enters the shroud and is immediately funnelled past the internal walls of the shroud which are sloped to the turbine wheel. Since the opening for the turbine wheel is much smaller than the opening of the shroud, the incoming wind is pressurized and accelerated prior to engaging the turbine wheel blades. This powerful captured wind turns the turbine wheel, which turns the drive shaft in the hu b of the wheel thus turning the generator which creates the electricity.</SDOA B>
