PURPOSE: A disc brake is provided to prevent vibration of pad plates and remove noise by moving forward and backward the pad plates to a disc with stably supporting the pad plates by a pad spring. CONSTITUTION: A disc brake is composed of a disc(10) for rotating together with a wheel of a vehicle; first and second pad plates(11,12) closely contacted to the disc to execute a braking action, arranged at both sides of the disc, and attached with friction pads(13,14) on the side contacting with the disc; a fixing member(20) fastened to a vehicle body to support two pad plates; a pressurizing device disposed at the fixing member to pressurize the pad plates to the disc; a pad supporting pin(30) having both ends fastened to the fixing member and penetrating two pad plates to support the pad plates to move back and forth; and a plate-shaped pad spring(40) having both ends fastened to the fixing member to prevent vibration of the pad plates and to pressurize and hold downward the upper ends of the pad plates.
