PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of preventing a lead wire in a retained state from being removed or slacked when the lead wire extracted from an auxiliary device to outside is pulled or is pushed into inside from outside, and easily assembling of lead wires. SOLUTION: In the circuit breaker 1 housing the auxiliary device 21 in a recessed part 14 formed in a front surface side of a breaker case 11 having an excess current breaking mechanism, a latch member 21a is provided on a side wall of the auxiliary device 21 for the lead wire 22 extracted from the auxiliary device to outside to be wound and latched.
