The device for the locking of a definitely orientated connection of a first profile (1) to a second (2) has a base section which is installed in an undercut (22) in the second profile and can be connected to a fastening device (4-6). At least one locking section through the slot of the undercut in the second profile can engage in the slot of the undercut (12) in the first profile. The locking section is constructed so that it can be moved in a slot (13) but not transversely to its longitudinal direction. The locking section is located on one end of the base section.
