PURPOSE: To obtain a curable resin composition which is soluble in an organic solvent and can give a cured product excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance, solvent resistance and mechanical properties by bonding a specified group to a terminal of a structure composed of a plurality of aromatic rings bonded to each other through ketone bonds and ether bonds. CONSTITUTION: A crosslinking group, desirably a heat-crosslinking group, more desirably ethynyl, allyl, epoxy or viny group is bonded to a terminal of a structure composed of a plurality of aromatic rings bonded to each other through ketone bonds and ether bonds (e.g. an aromatic polyether ketone obtained by bonding an acetylene group to a terminal of a structure obtained by reacting 4,4'-difluorobenzophene with an alkyl-substituted hydroquinone and 3- ethynylphenol.
