<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block body for pressed Sushi made of a plastic and having a structure so as to draw out Umami of an ingredient of the pressed Sushi and cut the pressed Sushi in a pressed state according to a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: Fragrant roasting of a roasted mackerel can be drawn in the pressed Sushi of the roasted mackerel frequently prepared in the district of Fukui Prefecture by preparing the pressed Sushi using the block body. Consumer tests are made and an evaluation that the roasted mackerel using the block body can uniformly be cut with a good appearance and is tasty is obtained.
