<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decimating device, which can flexibly set the degree of the decimating of data and has high wide usability reducing data size and without complicating of configuration, a recording device, and a reproducing device, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: The decimating device is consisted of a decimating part 107 which extracts data from raw data at constant time intervals, and outputs the data by making the interval between extracted data equal to the interval of the raw data, and a coding part 109 which encodes an output from the decimating part 107. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
