PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change setting from the outside of a mobile phone terminal to maximize the sound pressure of ringing, etc., when necessary. SOLUTION: When mail arrives at a mobile phone 1, a control part 103 collates "ÐÐ1" and following "XXXX", which are setting change keys designated in a terminated mail text for changing setting to a "mobile phone search mode" of sounding with a maximum sound pressure, etc., in response to call termination or the like, with a password. When they coincide with each other in this collation, the control part 103 temporarily releases the silent mode and maximizes the sound pressure level of a reporting speaker 107 in response to call termination.
