PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub with a reduced number of components and suitable for being integrated into an ASIC. SOLUTION: The hub system uses a line receiver of a differential transmission line having a fault detection function, delivers port data without a fault to the other ports, and disregards fault information from the ports outputting data, thereby outputting the inputted data to the other ports.
