PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To very easily replace a cartridge when a lifting type toil bowl top face device is formed to place the cartridge on the bottom face thereof. SOLUTION: When a user stands in front of a western style toilet bowl 10 or seats on a toilet seat 14, a deodorizing fan 32 is operated to suck air in a toilet bowl 12. The air enters from an opening 48 into a tank cover unit 20, passes the deodorizing cartridge 30, and blown from the deodorizing fan 32 to the rear side. When the rear upper surface of the western toilet bowl 10 is cleaned or deodorized or the cartridge 30 is replaced, after the front part of the tank cover unit 20 is raised, the finger tips of the user are hooked to a finger hooking part 42a and a cover 40 is pulled down.
