PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for combining a continuous straw wrapped body with a sheet strip, and a device capable of winding up the continuous straw wrapped body into a rolled state. SOLUTION: The continuous straw wrapped body 21 supplied from a straw supply device 20 to a first conveyor 14 is wound up into a roll while being transported in a sandwiched state along the straight transport passage between the first and a second conveyors 14, 15. The continuous straw wrapped body 21 is sandwich-held by a holding means 31 so that its rolled state is maintained. The continuous straw wrapped body 21 held in a rolled state by the holding means 31 is pressed down by a shifting means to come into contact with the upper surface of a sheet strip 43 supported by a support means 44. The sheet strip 43 pressed down by the continuous straw wrapped body 21 in a rolled state is put into a curved state of U-letter shape in its section during the process of passing between a pair of support members 46, 46, thus a combined body with the wrapped body 21 being enclosed with the sheet strip 43 is obtained.
