PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, when a user has to remove a paper jammed in equipment or the like in the periphery of a plate cylinder or a paper wound-up by inserting his hand inside the equipment with a plate cylinder unit pulled out, the user has to perform troublesome work like having to avoid contacting his hand or the like with the tip end of an exposed pointed paper discharge/separation claw or worries about the troubles all the time. SOLUTION: The paper discharge/separation equipment is provided with a paper discharge/separation claw 20 having a pointed tip end part 20a, a cover member 21 capable of occupying a covered position covering the tip end part 20a when a drum unit 50 is released from an equipment main body and occupying an uncovered position which is located away from the covered position and is exposed in its tip end part 20a when the drum unit 50 is inserted into the equipment main body, and a cover moving means for moving the cover member 21 between the covered and uncovered positions.
