PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion device for a chair capable of securely supporting the hips of a user seated on the chair. SOLUTION: The cushion device is used as mounted on a seat of the chair, and comprises a bag-shaped exterior body 1 formed air-tightly with an air plug 7 to be opened/closed for taking air into/out of the interior, a foaming elastic body 2 mounted inside the exterior body to be compressed and deformed when a load is applied with the air plug being opened, and a shape-retaining body 3. The shape-retaining body 3 consists of a number of granular objects 5 and an air-permeable holder bag 4 in which the granular objects are stored and held.
