A power supply including a system interconnection inverter capable of supplying a dummy load properly with excess power varying every moment through a simple facility arrangement. The power supply comprises a system interconnection inverter (13) for inverting DC power into AC power and supplying the AC power to a load (17) connected with a system power supply (20), a dummy load (21) connected in parallel with the load (17) through a power element (22), a circuit (28) for detecting power flowing between the load side and the system power supply every predetermined time, an operating section (29) for calculating the total of the detected power, and a control section (30) for turning the power element of the dummy load on/off according to the status value of power flow operated by the operating section.
