PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which reduces streaks in recording images irrespective of whether a striking amount per unit area in one scan is large or small. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device has a recording head which includes a plurality of discharging openings arranged along a transfer direction of a recording medium, and a plurality of discharge energy generating parts respectively arranged opposite to the plurality of discharging openings for discharging ink from the discharging openings. An arrangement interval of the discharging openings located at both ends in the arrangement direction of the discharging openings, and the discharge energy generating parts is set to be wider than an arrangement interval of the discharging openings located at the arrangement direction center part, and the discharge energy generating parts. A discharge frequency of the discharging openings located at both ends in the arrangement direction of the discharging openings is changed by a mask pattern according to the number of dots to be discharged per unit area of the recording medium in one scan movement of the recording head.
