METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING ERROR OF IMAGE DATA IN PACKET TRANSMISSION NETWORK, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH DECIDING A DEGREE OF AN ERROR BY USING ERROR GENERATION POSITION IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE AN ERROR ACCUMULATION EFFECT OF AN IMAGE TERMINAL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: A method and a device for processing an error of image data in a packet transmission network are provided to decide whether an error is sensed in block unit while decoding an image, and to decide an error generation position if the error is sensed, then to skip over the image, thereby minimizing an error accumulation effect. CONSTITUTION: A CODEC unit decodes received images in macro block unit(S300), and decides whether an error is sensed(S302). If so, the CODEC unit decides a position of an error-generated block(S304). The CODEC unit processes the error according to the error generation position(S306). If the error is not sensed, the CODEC unit uses the corresponding images as reference images for next images to be decoded(S308).
