<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharge device for improving easiness-to-use of the water discharge device by reducing force required for operation of an opening-closing valve when securing a large flow rate. <P>SOLUTION: This water discharge device has the opening-closing valve 60a having a valve hole 63 arranged in a partition wall 62 for partitioning an upstream side waterway 68 and a downstream side waterway 69, a valve element 66 for opening-closing the valve hole, and an operation means having an operation piece 77, and advancing-retreating the valve element. A pressure chamber 72 for generating an internal pressure change by operation of the operation piece, is arranged on the upstream side of the valve element.
