<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system for assisting installation and storage or purchase of an article corresponding to dimension and attribute of the article and a situation of a living space. <P>SOLUTION: This article management system 100 is provided with an article moving body data base 106 having article information in the living space, an article moving body retrieval/management means 105 for managing the article moving body data base 106, an environment map 108 having map information, an environment map management means 107 for managing the environment map 108, a sensing means 104 for detecting the article, a retrieval means 119 for retrieving an empty region for the article in the living space based on the article information and the map information and preparing a list of articles to be installed, and a display means 117 for displaying the list. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
