PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which does not give rise to toner contamination and toner filming to a carrier in a developing section even if hitherto discarded toner particles components other than products are reutilized in a kneading process, is excellent in colorability and electrostatic charge characteristics and makes clear images obtainable, a developer using the same, a developing method, a development apparatus, an image forming method, and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A master batch of dispersing a pigment into a binder resin is used in the toner prepared by pulverizing/classifying a kneaded mixture composed of at least the binder resin and the pigment and kneading the toner particles components separated in a classifying process again with the binder resin and the pigment in a kneading process, and reutilizing the same. The master batch uses the dry powder pigment as the pigment, adds water thereto at the time of mixing the dry powder pigment and the binder resin, and removes the water at the time of heat kneading and mixing the mixture. The loss on drying at 110°C after kneading is 0.01 to 1.0 wt.%. Also, the percentage content of the residual solvent in the toner is below 300 ppm. As a result, if the master batch is used for the toner formed by reutilizing the toner particles components other than the products generated in the pulverizing/classifying process, the deterioration of the resin is averted and the toner contamination and the toner filming to the carrier can be prevented even if the toner particles to be reutilized are kneaded twice.
