PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet valve disc, in which leakage or the like scarcely occurs by preventing an undesirable foreign matter from adhering on the working faces of a valve seat and a valve disc packing and increasing the contact sections of the valve disc packing, in the faucet valve disc partially functioning as a gate valve in spite of being a stop valve. SOLUTION: The faucet valve disc I opens and closes a valve seat section 6 installed to a stop valve body III. The sectional shape of the top packing 3 is formed in a projecting trapezoidal shape, a proper space is formed between the top packing and the rear-side valve disc base 1 of the valve disc packing 3 and the top packing 3 is penetrated into a communicating hole in a section forward of the valve seat face and is stuck fast and stops a liquid on the valve seat section 6.
