INSULATING RAIL SEAM-FASTENING DEVICE MAKING USE OF CONCRETE SLEEPER, FOR IMPROVING LIFE SPAN OF SLEEPER AND FOR REDUCING MAINTENANCE COST

PURPOSE: An insulating rail seam-fastening device making use of a concrete sleeper is provided to prevent an error of a railroad signal by covering the outside of screw spikes with an insulating cover. CONSTITUTION: An insulating rail seam-fastening device making use of a concrete sleeper(130) comprises the concrete sleeper; a base plate(134) fixed to the concrete sleeper by plural screw spikes(136); a base plate pad(132) interposed between the concrete sleeper and the base plate; a rail pad(144) fixed between the base plate and a rail(146); a pair of insulating blocks each directly supporting side bottom of the rail; a pair of coil spring clips(140) and clip holders(138) each supporting the insulating blocks; and a pair of insulating rail seams(148) fastened to the sides of the rail by plural bolts(150) and nuts(152). An insulating cover(154) for electric insulation between the screw spike and the concrete sleeper is installed to the outside of the screw spike to be laid in the concrete sleeper. The clip holder is formed in one body with the base plate. The insulating block is formed in a structure of receiving the fastening force of the coil spring clip and pushing the bottom ends of the rail and the base plate.
