PURPOSE: An input pen and a portable terminal having the same are provided to widen the internal space of a portable terminal relatively. CONSTITUTION: A case(50) forms the external appearance of a portable terminal, at which an input pen(30) is installed. A screen(52), such as a touch screen, etc., is provided at the front of the case(50). The screen(52) occupies the greater part of the front of the case(50), and executes a function of displaying various information and a function of receiving information. A plurality of buttons(54) for executing specific functions other than the power on-off function are installed at the exterior of the case(50). A pen body(31) which constitutes the input pen(30) is installed in a side of the case(50). An extended body(35), serving as an antenna, is projectingly installed at a side of the case(50) so that the portable phone can execute a communication function.
