<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack capable of surely draining liquid water produced by power generation, and of improving power generation performance with a simple and small structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a layered product 18 constituting this fuel cell stack, a plurality of power generation cells 16 are stacked in the direction of an arrow A; and each generation cell 16 is equipped with an electrolyte membrane/electrode structure 30, and first and second separators 32 and 34 for catching the structure 30. Fuel gas passages 52 are formed on a surface of the first separator 32 facing to an anode-side electrode 48; and a passage cross-sectional area of a product of its passage depth D1 and passage width W1 is formed in the range of 0.1-0.3 mm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
