<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension ring which can be economically designed without making a compressive force occur in a stiffening member, and to provide a mounting method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the tension ring, the stiffening member 14 for stiffening a tension ring body 10 is installed in the inward direction of the body 10. An end of the stiffening member 14 is fixed to a fixing hole of a coupling member 15 which is installed on the inner peripheral surface of the body 10. The fixing hole 16 is formed as a slot which is elongated in the direction of the extension of the stiffening member 14 to be fixed, and in a regular state, the end of the stiffening member 14 is coupled to one end 16a of the fixing hole nearest to a tip part of the coupling member 15. When the compressive force acts on the stiffening member 14 because such an excessive external force as to deform the body 10 is generated by an external factor, the end of the stiffening member 14 is moved to the other end 16b of the fixing hole nearest to a connection part of the coupling member 15, so that the compressive force acting on the stiffening member 14 can be released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
