AIRTIGHT WATERPROOF SLIDE FASTENER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight waterproof slide fastener that provides airtightness and durability and that does not strip off easily even when folded intensely. SOLUTION: One part of a flange section (14b) formed on the peripheral surface part of a stopping section (14) of a waterproof fastener (10) has a sufficient wideness to be adhesively fixed between a waterproof tape (11) and an opening and closing end part (30a) of an attachment product (30) that is installed on the tape (11). When the waterproof fastener (10) is folded down it alleviates an excessive flexural stress that is directly applied to the waterproof tape (11) since the flange section (14b) is attached and fixed in a sandwiched manner by the waterproof tape (11) and the opening and closing end part of the attachment product and the stripping off of the waterproof tape (11) at that part can be prevented.
