PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe knee prosthesis claiming to be the rear stabilized prosthesis capable of reducing a risk of deformation relative to bending of 90°or more. SOLUTION: The tibia insert of this rear stabilized prosthesis is provided with a tibia stud 2 perpendicularly projecting from the base of the insert, and a rearward curved face 6. In the transverse section of the surface in the front/rear direction, the rearward face 6 formes a curve, a so-called contact curve, formed into a recessed curved shape having a recessed face, at least, partially curved rearward. A single point 22 on the curve in a vertex is characterized in being separated from the base and positioned in a rear part of other points on the curve in the vertex, especially, the other points on the curve.
