PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well drain soap, to prevent the soap from being softened by dissolving, to beautifully and effectively hold the soap even if it becomes small, and to make the soap hard to slip down. SOLUTION: The soap container includes a pedestal, and a group of capillary projections formed on the surface of the pedestal on the side of a soap holding face. The soap holding face side of the pedestal is structured to project its middle portion relatively to the periphery, and the soap holding face side of the group of capillary projections is structured to recess its middle portion relatively to the periphery.
