PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device preventing spreading of harmful gas generated from a pickling tank, a flux tank, a plating tank, or the like housed in a housing provided in a factory to the atmosphere by using an air curtain. SOLUTION: The device is characterized by that in the housing 2 provided in an interior of the factory, the air curtain 15 is formed in an elongated gap 7 of a housing ceiling 3 provided for conveying steel or the like in an interior of the housing 2, one side of the ceiling divided by the gap 7 of the housing ceiling 3 is composed of a push hood 12 having a blow-out opening 13, the blow-out opening 13 is provided at an angle in the direction from a blow-out opening center toward the housing interior, and an air curtain air flow sent from the blow-out opening 13 to the housing interior is sent to an exhaust gas washer 11 by an exhaust fan 10 attached to the housing 2.
