<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processor which can list and display the result of success or failure of removal processing of a plurality of the dust and crack areas etc. and its position on a screen. <P>SOLUTION: Positional information of minute objects such as dust or a crack in an image is obtained. Then, the minute objects are removed out of the image and the removal result of the minute objects is determined. Based on the positional information of the removed minute object and determined removal result, when the removal of the minute object is successful, a first drawing pattern, such as a circle is drawn on an image after the removal of the minute object concerned, when removal of minute object is not successful, a second drawing pattern such as a rectangle, is drawn on the image including the minute object concerned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
