PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of recording picked-up image information of a wide dynamic range having no information loss by a general-purpose method having reduced processing load, and an image processing apparatus and an image recording apparatus capable of easily editing and processing the picked-up image information of the wide dynamic range which is recorded by this imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus 21 generates low sensitivity scene reference raw data and high sensitivity scene reference raw data which are generated by imaging and composite auxiliary data as information required for generating scene reference image data synthesized and standardized from each of the reference raw data. The apparatus 21 adds the composite auxiliary data as header information to the low sensitivity scene reference raw data and high sensitivity scene reference raw data, and records the data in the recording medium of a storage device 9. The image processing apparatus and the image recording apparatus generate appreciation image reference data on the basis of the data outputted from the imaging apparatus 21.
