PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of extremely preventing the visual field of an auxiliary microscope from being shaded and securing the excellent visual field. SOLUTION: In the microscope observation apparatus provided with a probe microscope having a relatively high magnification optical system and a stereomicroscope having a low magnification optical system, such a constitution that an optical axis L1 of the probe microscope is arranged between two optical axes L2, L3 of the stereomicroscope is adopted.
