PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator promptly specify a trouble generation point in the case of switching a transmission path. SOLUTION: This site state monitor method monitors states of first and second sites and other site interposed between the first and second sites in the case of constituting a transmission line between the first and second sites and includes a process for displaying a user interface (110) which is visualized and presented to an operator on a terminal of the operator by displaying responses sequentially returned from the respective sites corresponding to equipment control instructions to the respective sites by character strings or graphics.
