PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle allowing efficient energy absorption at the time of a rear collision, improvement of proof stress for the rear collision, and improvement of rear vehicle body rigidity by two structural bodies on one side of a rear frame and a reinforcement. SOLUTION: This structure is provided with an opening part for communicating the inside and outside of a cabin at a rear part of a vehicle body. A recessed part 6 is formed by recessing a rear part of a floor panel 4 of the vehicle to a lower side. In the floor panel 4, a rear frame 11 extending in a front and rear direction of the vehicle is disposed. A kick-up part 12 having a position corresponding to the recessed part 6 extending to be curved to an upper side is provided in a rear part of the rear frame 11. The reinforcement 13 for reinforcing extending to a rear side of the vehicle in parallel with the kick-up part 12 or substantially parallel with the part 12 is mounted at a lower end of the recessed part 6.
