The invention relates to a rotation transmission device (1) comprising (i) a flexible shaft (2) and (ii) a sheath (3) which houses the aforementioned flexible shaft (2) and which is designed to allow said shaft (2) to rotate therein. The outer surface of the flexible shaft (2) is machined such as to produce an essentially smooth surface.
