<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a separator that mist gets partially mixed in supply gas and accordingly a battery performance is degraded and stability of a battery can not be secured. <P>SOLUTION: In the polymer electrolyte fuel cell provided with a cell stack consisting of a hydrogen-ion conductive polyelectrolyte film, a pair of electrodes pinching the electrolyte film, and a pair of conductive separators equipped with gas flow channels supplying and exhausting fuel gas and oxidant gas to the electrodes, a lowermost part communicating an inlet side manifold of at least one of the gas flow channels of the fuel gas and oxidant gas of the conductive separator is positioned at an upper part in a direction of gravity than a position of a gas supply tube connected to the inlet side manifold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
