PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for filling by which the contents of even a liquid or a powder can be prevented from attaching to a film to reduce the occurrence of a failure in sealing. SOLUTION: A tubular part 12 is formed by forming a longitudinal seal 12a by sealing a strip film 11 along its longitudinal direction, and the tubular part 12 is sealed with intervals in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction to form a lateral seal 13a, thereby forming a bottomed baglike part 13. The contents 20 are discharged into the baglike part 13 by a filling nozzle 7 inserted from longitudinally upward into the tubular part 12. After the discharge of the contents is stopped, the upper part of the baglike part is laterally sealed, thereby realizing the filling method. Static electricity is eliminated on the longitudinally sealed tubular part 12 and/or the baglike part 13 when filling. Thus, since the static electricity occurring when the film is formed into a tube is eliminated, the contents 20 can be prevented from attaching to the film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
